Council of the “UkrAluminium” Association

 

The Council of the Association provides overall guidance for the activities of the Association and oversees the implementation of the decisions of the General Assembly and the Executive Directorate.

Vadym Gurzhos, Member of the Association Council

Born on September 9, 1958 (Kryvyi Rih);
In 1980, he graduated from the Kryvyi Rih Mining Institute with a degree in Applied Geodesy, Faculty of Mine Surveying and Mine Construction. In 1990, he obtained a second higher education degree, graduating from the Faculty of Economics at the Kyiv Institute of National Economy.

Professional Experience

  • 1983–1990: Kryvyi Rih Metallurgical Plant “Kryvorizhstal”. Engaged in the enterprise’s foreign economic activities.

  • 1990–1995: Director of the Ukrainian representative office of Sytco AG Switzerland, working in the metallurgical sector of Ukrainian industry.

  • 1997–2001: Co-owner and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of PJSC “GALAKTON”.

  • 2002–2004: Chairman of the Council of Entrepreneurs under the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

  • 2000–2004: Adviser to the Minister of Economy of Ukraine.

  • Since 2002: Member of the Board of the Ukrainian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.

  • 2006–2007: Deputy Head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration.

  • 2006–2010: Deputy of the Kyiv Regional Council.

  • Since January 2008: Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications of Ukraine for the preparation of transport infrastructure for the UEFA Euro 2012 Championship.

  • Since August 2014: Elected Chairman of the Council of the newly established Association of Ukrainian Aluminum Products Manufacturers “Ukraluminiy”.

Viktoriya Burkivska, Member of the Association Council

General Director and Co-Founder of LLC “Studiopak Ukraine Limited.” Born on May 7, 1972, in Kyiv.

In 1994, she graduated from the Kyiv Technological Institute of Light Industry, specializing in Economics and Management of Light Industry.
